We still see it as originally flagged, with the button 'download the app'

Alice Dupont I see. I should add a bit more context here — apologies for the confusion.
On mobile, there are currently two ways this flow can be viewed:
1) Through the mobile app using a web view.
2) Through the mobile web browser (what you’re seeing now).
We’ve temporarily turned off the in-app web view due to some design limitations, as well as a few recurring issues during the App Store review process. Because of that, all mobile users are currently routed through the browser experience instead.
I realize this may feel a bit confusing, but it’s an intentional interim decision while we work through those constraints. The logic is built as requested.
One additional note that may be helpful:
If you tap the Download the App button, we detect the device you’re on and route you to the correct App Store link automatically. If the app is already installed, the store will show Open (or Update, if applicable), which can still be useful in this scenario.
So while we’re actively working toward a more seamless, above-and-beyond solution, the current flow is functioning as intended. Apologies for not including this additional context earlier.

This post has been merged with a now completed task. Excited to share that this was included in last Friday's update.

This is a larger design task that effects all of our mobile apps. We are looking into a robust solution.
